...Toledo Speedway Lighting Upgrade Planned
TOLEDO OH (1-14-08)--Toledo Speedway's .5-mile paved oval is slated for a lighting upgrade to the Qualite Sports-Lighting Systems, Inc. set-up at the track, which has been in place since the start of the 2006 season. Track management entered into an agreement with Qualite as a test program for the super-speedway style lighting system in turns 1 and 2, the backstretch and turns 3 and 4 just 2 years ago. Qualite officials are now prepared to install an upgrade to the system as they look to improve this part of their product line.

LEXINGTON MI (1-11-08)--The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts continues to prepare for the 2008 racing seasons within all four divisions of the Lexington, Michigan based series.
In what is widely regarded as the Official 2008 Season Opening Weekend in the Great Lakes Region of the United States, the cars and stars of the ASALMS Northern Division as well as the much anticipated return of the USPRO Cup Series will share the spotlight to kick off each of their 2008 seasons. It'll all happen on Friday and Saturday April 11-12, 2008 as part of the Glass Breaker 200 Weekend at the famed Toledo (OH) Speedway, located just across the Michigan / Ohio state line in Toledo, Ohio.

TOLEDO OH (9-23-07)--Brian Campbell drove to victory in the 19th running of the Miller Lite Glass City 200 presented by National City Bank and Allegiant Air Saturday night at Toledo Speedway. Campbell, of Jenison, Michigan, led the final 76 circuits around the Toledo half-mile oval to earn his first career Glass City 200 victory in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd on a perfect night of weather. Steve Sauve finished second, with Brent Jack third, John Doering Jr. fourth and Dave Kuhlman fifth.
