Justin Schroeder and JMS Racing Locked and Loaded: Ready For the Season to Begin
CANTON MI (4-21-08)--For twenty-one year old Justin Schroeder April 26th can't come quick enough. That will be the first chance Schroeder will be able to get back to what he knows best, and that's being behind the wheel of a racecar. He along with his family owned team, JMS Racing, will start the season at the historic Flat Rock Speedway in Flat Rock, Michigan where he will compete for the track championship. Schroeder will also compete at the Toledo Speedway for the gold cup championship, a five round series shootout to determine the 2008 track champion.

There is some confusion about tire sales at the tracks; it is the same as 2007 and is as follows:
DURING THE WEEK, tires may only be purchased on THURSDAYS from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the tracks. Tire mounting is NOT available on Thursdays.
As usual, tires are always for sale on race days and tire mounting is available on race day.

FLAT ROCK MI (5-20-08)--Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways will be busy with plenty of racing activity this Memorial Day weekend. The action actually begins on Wednesday, May 21st with an open practice at Flat Rock Speedway from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The pit area will open at 4 p.m. for this event.
...ARCA Iron Man Allen Makes 100; Congrats!
TOLEDO OH (5-27-08) - If milestones in motorsports matter, then ARCA veteran Ron Allen has met a major one.
The longtime Lincoln Park, Michigan ARCA racer earned his 100th career ARCA-sanctioned victory Sunday night at Toledo Speedway with a win in the ARCA National City Bank Sportsman division. Allen passed Chad Guinn on lap nine of the 50-lap main event and never looked back. Images by Dennis Oblander

FLAT ROCK, MI (6-9-2008)-- Flat Rock Speedway’s biggest Late Model race of the season, the Moran Chevrolet/Stan Yee Memorial 150, set for Saturday, June 21 has now taken a step up in purse money. The Yee family and friends have stepped forward to add additional monies to the event. Yee, a hugely successful car owner for over 40 years, passed away May 18, just 2 days shy of his 76th birthday. His son, Stan Jr., is a weekly competitor in the Late Model division at “The Rock”.

...Mike Bolick Update (1-17-09)
Long time Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway ARCA driver, car owner and sponsor Mike Bolick has been hospitalized after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in an attack Friday January 9 outside his home in Carleton, Michigan. He is currently in the intensive care unit at St. Vincent Mercy Memorial Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, and is in critical but stable condition. Bolick, 54, is the owner of MB Windows & Doors and is the long time sponsor of ARCA Late Model driver Joe Hawes. Mike's father Reed Bolick Sr. owned ARCA late models driven by Fran Harden in the 1970s and his brothers Pat and Reed Jr. also raced. Jeff Kurzyniec scored the victory in the wild Bus race, Dave Arnold Jr. topped the Factory Stock feature, Chance Rice notched the win in the Michigan Legends race, Shawn Bershback was victorious in the 4 Cylinder show and Lonnie York thrilled the crowd with his win in the Rollover contest.
