FLAT ROCK MI (5-20-08)--Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways will be busy with plenty of racing activity this Memorial Day weekend. The action actually begins on Wednesday, May 21st with an open practice at Flat Rock Speedway from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The pit area will open at 4 p.m. for this event.

Friday, May 23rd
Toledo Speedway
Night of Destruction School Bus Figure-8, Figure-8 Train Race, Factory Stocks, 4-Cylinders, Back-up race, Plywood race, and roll-over contest. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Reserved seating is available by contacting Toledo Speedway (419) 727-1100.

Saturday, May 24th
Flat Rock Speedway
100-lap Figure-8 Feature, plus Street Stocks and the first-ever Race Car Roller Derby! Racing starts at 7 p.m.

Sunday, May 25th
Flat Rock Speedway
Pepsi/Autism Speaks Enduro 250, plus 4-cylinders. Racing starts at 1 p.m.

UAW Cap Council Night 50-lap Late Model Gold Cup Feature, plus 50-lap Sportsman Feature and Legend Cars. Racing starts at 7 p.m.

TO FLAT ROCK SPEEDWAY LATE MODEL TEAMS:
Just to clarify, the tires that were impounded after the Saturday, May 17 cancellation are the tires that you will qualify on and run the feature for the Saturday, June 7 race.  (your next event at Flat Rock).  You may practice on any tire, but for these 2 events (like always-qualifying, feature) you will run the tires you impounded May 17.

The Late Models will not run heat races June 7.
