On Saturday, January 18 over 500 race fans, drivers, promoters, and series representatives attended the 2025 MARFC (Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club) banquet. Flat Rock Speedway and Toledo Speedway had track champions honored at the annual celebration. Toledo Speedway’s Jim Froling (Salenbien Trucking and Excavating ARCA Late Model Sportsman) and Greg Studt (Flat Rock Speedway R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8) were also recognized at the gala.

Pat Moran received the Vito Lopiccolo Memorial Award on Saturday as well. As a youth, Moran spent his summers working on cars at Mount Clemens Race Track, soon using skills to become a successful business owner in the Metro Detroit region. Moran's Chevrolet has sponsored the ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models division at Flat Rock for 18 years, a partnership that has spanned decades and helped support grassroots racing in southeast Michigan as both an economy, and a community. Moran has been a member of the ARCA family and garage area fixture for more than 40 years as a sponsor, crew member, and car owner, assisting and being there for drivers who need a helping hand.

Andy Bozell was recognized with the MARFC Presidents Award, and the Melling Family received the Eddie Sachs Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award.

In total there were over 100 champions honored from 27 tracks/series on Saturday.
