CorvetteParts.net Glass City 200 to Feature Thrilling Track Championship Races

Fans of short-track racing are in for an exciting day on Saturday, September 14, as the CorvetteParts.net Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway will host not just the highly anticipated 200-lap ASA Stars Tour late model race but also two pivotal track championship races for both the Safety Kleen Factory Stock division and Salenbien Late Model Sportsman division

Safety Kleen Factory Stock Decider
Brad Turner and Josh Bunting are locked in a heated battle for the Safety Kleen Factory Stock title, with only 20 points separating the two. The championship will be decided in what is expected to be a high stakes and high-tension event for both competitors. The division has seen added pressure this year, with five 100-lap enduro style races added to the schedule. This extended format has made the road to victory more grueling than in previous years, racing at two tracks in two different racing formats.

Jim Froling Eyes Championship in Salenbien Late Model Sportsman Division
In the Salenbien Late Model Sportsman division, Jim Froling holds a commanding lead and is set to close out what has been a standout season. Froling has consistently dominated the field throughout the year and, with a solid performance this Saturday, will complete his 2024 championship run. His competitors will need a near-perfect day to unseat him from his well-earned position at the top. As Howard Kelley Jr. sits 85 points behind the lead and Mike Young sits 100 points back.
