USAC Opens Toledo on 4/20/2024 | Hemelgarn Racing / Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic USAC Silver Crown Series Announcement

December 11, 2023: Toledo, OH – Officials from Toledo Speedway and USAC are pleased to announce the return of the Hemelgarn Racing / Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic USAC Silver Crown Series race. Saturday, April 20, 2024 is the NEW date for the event, now the season opener for both Toledo Speedway and the USAC Silver Crown Series. The spring date brings pavement sprint car action to the area earlier than ever before.

“Hosting the 2024 season opening race for the USAC Silver Crown Series to kick off Toledo Speedway’s season is a point of pride,” said Toledo Speedway promoter Ron Drager. “What makes this event special for us is to be able to honor USAC champion and Toledo native Rollie Beale and his family and to have the support of Toledo businessman and Indianapolis 500 winning car owner Ron Hemelgarn. The USAC Silver Crown Series’ 10th Toledo Speedway appearance in the Hemelgarn Racing-Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic promises to be another great event.”

Not only will the Hemelgarn Racing / Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic event be the season opener for the USAC Silver Crown Series, it will also host the first race of the season for both the ARCA Late Model Sportsman and the ARCA Factory Stock Toledo Speedway divisions.

Additionally on deck for this event is the return of the Racer Reunion. Former area racers and enthusiasts will gather in the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill with scrapbooks, videos and photos on display.

In 2023 Kody Swanson extended his historic winning streak at Toledo Speedway, outrunning the 22-car field to win his 5th consecutive Hemelgarn Racing / Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic. He will look to add his 6th straight victory in 2024, however he is expected to be challenged by the likes of Justin Grant, Davey Hamilton Jr, Taylor Ferns and more. Matt Bunting took home the Factory Stock feature win in 2023 and Ron Allen walked home with the Late Model Sportsman trophy and are expected to defend their wins.

Tickets will be available at toledospeedway.com.
