RACING SEASON IS NEAR! CAMPBELL HITS TOLEDO!
It must be close to racing season! For the past several years, Brian Campbell has made the trip to Toledo from the west side of the state of Michigan to prepare for the 2016 racing campaign. Saturday, Campbell, his father, Freddie, and the Lakeshore Motorsports team became the first testers to hit the track at Toledo Speedway.
Campbell spent the afternoon prepping his machine as he prepares to go for his 3rd win in a row in Toledo's season opener for the ARCA/CRA Series powered by Jeg's Late Model portion of the 7-Up 200. The event is set for Saturday, April 16 at 3 p.m. The other portion of the event will see the ARCA Royal Truck and Trailer Late Model Gold Cup Series battle in a 100 lap feature.
The day of testing concluded with Campbell's new chassis man, Terry Senneker Jr., jumping behind the wheel of what will be the #47 machine.
