Toledo Speedway

Toledo, Ohio—July 7, 2015:  Plymouth, IN driver JR Roahrig, the defending Glass City 200 race winner, has filed his entry for Friday’s Kevin Butzin Recycling (BKR) 100 presented by Belle Tire at Toledo Speedway.  The event is race number 4 for the 6-race ARCA Royal Truck and Trailer Gold Cup Late Model Series.

JR’s win last September in the Glass City 200 was his second victory at the fast ½ mile paved oval in his career.  He edged out Jeff Ganus, who is also entered for the Friday, July 10 race at Toledo.  Ganus has 2 wins and a second place finish in the 3 Gold Cup events in 2015, and is the current point leader for the Royal Truck and Trailer Gold Cup Series.

Roahrig’s son, Tyler Roahrig, has also entered the 100 lap contest, which marks the first outlaw Late Model race at Toledo for the youngster.  Tyler has competed at Toledo in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Stock-bodied cars in the past.  He also has captured several wins in his outlaw-bodied car at various tracks over the past 2 seasons.

The ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman cars will also hit the ½ mile Friday, while the ARCA R & M Recycling X Cars will compete on the short track.  The grandstand gate and ticket office open at 4:30, practice begins at 4:30, time trials are at 6:30 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
