Toledo Speedway

Flat Rock, MI—June 15, 2015:  Toledo Speedway will host “Ladies Night”, Friday, June 19, with free admission for all ladies!  On the track, the Monroe News Enduro Series will stage the first-ever 250 lap race on the short track.  The ARCA Praxair Figure 8’s and a Road Rage Race are also part of the Friday evening race program at the Glass City oval.

All ladies should go to the ticket window upon arrival to the track to pick up their free admission ticket for the night of entertainment!

The Enduro races have been a mainstay of the Flat Rock, MI Speedway, Toledo’s sister track, for over 30 years.  This Friday’s Monroe News 250 lap race should be very competitive, as the short track at Toledo will require a bit of strategy in running the entire distance!  The winner will take home a cool $1000, and a field of 20-25 machines will take the green flag in the race that is only stopped for safety issues.

Prior to the Enduro race, the ARCA Praxair Figure 8’s will hit the track for their race program, including a 20 lap feature on the Figure 8 course, matching wits at the intersection as they criss-cross back and forth in front of each other at speed! 

The evening will be capped off with the “Road Rage” race, which requires the race cars to follow the lead pace truck.  Wherever the pace truck goes, the cars must follow!  When the lights go out on the pace truck, it’s full throttle to the checkered flag!

The pit gates will open at 5 p.m., the front gate and ticket office will open at 6, practice starts at 6:30, qualifying will follow and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.  All tickets will go on sale at 6 p.m.
