GREAT LAKES HELICOPTER RETURNS TO BACK TOLEDO GLASS CITY 200

Toledo, Ohio—March 6, 2015: Toledo Speedway’s signature event, the famed Glass City 200 Late Model invitational, will carry the Great Lakes Helicopter name again in 2015 as the title sponsor for the fifth consecutive season. The prestigious event takes place Saturday, September 19 at the lightning-fast ½ mile paved oval.
The Almont, MI-based business has been a huge supporter of outlaw Late Model racing in the Michigan-Ohio-Indiana area the past several years,

The 2014 edition of the race was plagued by heavy rains and was called official after 101 laps. Plymouth, IN driver JR Roahrig added his name to the record books with the victory.
An open practice is scheduled for Friday at the track, with more practice, qualifying and the 200 set for Saturday, September 19. The complete details of the schedule will be announced later this summer.
