AUTOGRAPH, KIDS NIGHT AT TOLEDO FRIDAY!

AUTOGRAPH, KIDS NIGHT AT TOLEDO FRIDAY!

Fans of all ages enjoy the opportunity to walk onto the track, check out the race cars and chat with their favorite drivers! And the time to do just that is this weekend at Toledo Speedway’s Autograph Night and the re-scheduled Kid’s Night!

Friday night, June 27 Toledo will stage Autograph Night, sponsored by Teamsters Local 20 and Glass Bowl Lanes. It’s also Kid’s Night, with all kids to age 14 admitted free with a paid adult. Each child will also receive a free hot dog, courtesy of Sherwood Foods, Jim’s Butcher Shop and Schwebel Baking Company. Parents should pick up the children’s ticket/hot dog voucher at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track Friday night.

“Our race teams take great pride in the Autograph Night promotion,” noted Casey Wagner, Assistant General Manager of the 2 tracks.” It makes for a great night of fun for the entire family.”

The race teams at the track put forth a big effort to say “thank you” to the race fans by handing out photos, hero cards, candy and treats for fans both young and not-so young! And there’s a pretty good chance the drivers will load a kid into their race car and climb behind the wheel for a photo for Mom and Dad!

Four divisions will be in action Friday, with the ARCA Aramark Sportsman on the ½ mile, and the track’s Praxair Figure 8’s and R & M Recycling X Cars on the ¼ mile. The MCR Dwarf Cars will make a visit to the Glass City also Friday evening.

The front gates and ticket office open at 5 p.m. For the race teams, the pit gate opens at 4, with practice for the race cars at 5. Time trials are at 6:15, the on-track autograph session is at 7 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.

Parking is FREE on the track grounds. The speedway is located on Benore Road at the I-75/Alexis Road exit on the Michigan-Ohio border. The phone number is 419-727-1100.
