KID’S NIGHT, DOUBLE X CAR FEATURES AND MORE AT TOLEDO!
(June 17, 2014): This Friday, June 20 Toledo Speedway plays host to the Glass Bowl Lanes Kid’s Night! All kids to age 14 will be admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult and will also receive a free hot dog, courtesy of Jim’s Butcher Shop, Sherwood Foods and Schwebel Baking Company. Parents should pick up the children’s ticket/food voucher at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track Friday.
Track management has altered the gate times for this Friday’s show. The pit gate will open at 4:30, front gates open at 5:30 and practice also begins at that time. Time trials are at 6:30 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
The family fun and excitement on the track has the ARCA R & M Recycling X Cars battling in pair of 25 lap main events on the ¼ mile. Additional purse money has been added to each of the 25 lap contests, and the finish of the first feature will be inverted for the starting lineup for the second event.
The ARCA Praxair Figure 8 division will again thrill fans of all ages with their daredevil driving on the Figure 8 course, while the ARCA Aramark Sportsman division hits the ½ mile for their show of speed and door to door racing!
Tickets go on sale when the ticket office and front gates open at 5:30 p.m. The track is located on Benore Road at the I-75/Alexis Road exit on the Michigan-Ohio border. The track phone number is 419-727-1100.
