GARY LINDAHL TO BE FEATURED ON TOLEDO CHANNEL 11
(Toledo, Ohio—June 10, 2014): The voice of Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, track announcer Gary LIndahl, will be featured on the WTOL-TV Channel 11-Toledo’s 6 p.m. newscast Thursday, June 12.
Gary has been a mainstay at Flat Rock since 1987 and joined the Toledo staff in mid-season of 1999. Lindahl has also announced at many tracks across Michigan during his career as a race track announcer. Gary’s love for racing began when his father, Eugene, took him to the races in his hometown of Jackson, MI.
His “Look Out” call during the Figure 8 races keeps the fans entertained throughout the event, as well as his knowledge of the sport in general. WTOL-TV Sports anchor Dan Cummins and reporter Mike Lacett interviewed Gary earlier this season at Toledo.
