WOODVILLE AUTO FINANCE “NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION” BUS RACE MAY 24 AT TOLEDO
(Toledo, Ohio - May 6, 2014) - Toledo Speedway will play host to one of the most popular nights of the season, the Woodville Auto Finance “Night of Destruction” School Bus Figure 8 races Friday evening, May 23. The rain date for the race is Friday, May 30.
The wildly-popular School Bus Figure 8 event features school buses sliding through the intersection on the Figure 8 track, with the likely event that one or more will end up rolling over on its side from the crashes!
Sponsors of the school buses include Woodville Auto Finance of Northwood, OH, Toledo businesses Burge Wrecking, PB Fabrication, R & M Recycling, Mayfly Tavern and First Choice Auto and Froggy’s Saloon of Daytona Beach, FL. One bus remains open for sponsorship, which includes painting the bus, program listing, public address mentions and 20 tickets to the event. Interested parties may call 419-727-1100.
There’s more fun and entertainment for the May 23 show, as a Figure 8 Train race will also take place—2 cars chained together, with the front car with the engine and the back car with brakes only! And for more craziness, add in the Boat Figure 8 race! Yes, boats on trailers towed by races cars on the Figure 8 track! The goal is to keep your boat and trailer intact---and that rarely happens as the competitors take aim on their fellow boaters. Woodville Auto Finance and First Choice Auto will also sponsor boats, and several more are still available to add your business name to them—call us today for the details!
And, we’re not done yet----we have wild racing action as the weekly ARCA R & M X Cars and the ARCA Praxair Figure 8 division will battle wheel to wheel and fender to fender to the checkered flag!
Still not enough fun, action and entertainment for you? Add in the Race Car Bowling contest, featuring race cars sliding into barrels set up as bowling pins…you get the picture.
New for 2014 is the one they’ve been talking about—the ROAD RAGE race! Get this---there’s a pace car out in front of the field of race cars. They get the green flag. You cannot pass the pace car driver Jaque’ Franzil—he may go fast, he may go slow, he may go high, he may go low. No one knows how many laps will be run! So…….when the pace car pulls off the track, the next flag is the checkered flag!!!!
