ARCA RE/MAX Series, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series Double-Header on Tap
TOLEDO OH (2-28-08)--Officials from ARCA and Toledo Speedway announced today that the 4th Annual ARCA Fan Fest has been scheduled as part of the spring ARCA RE/MAX Series weekend at Toledo Speedway, May 17 & 18.

The ARCA Fan Fest will feature several interactive displays and activities, plus a fund raising element. The Fan Fest will serve as a prelude to the ARCA touring series double header weekend, featuring the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series on Saturday afternoon, May 17, and the ARCA RE/MAX Series Hantz Group 200 on Sunday, May 18.

The 4th Annual ARCA Fan Fest has been designed as a Family and Fan Friendly Motorsports Promotion allowing ARCA fans and their families to interact with ARCA Officials, Drivers, Teams, Crews, and sponsors at ARCA's hometown track.

"The ARCA Fan Fest promotion has been tremendously popular with fans, sponsors and our competitors the last three years," said Mark Gundrum, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for ARCA. "This is a chance for us to give something back to the race fans in our hometown."

The Fan Fest, which will take place in the parking lot area directly in front of the Speedway, will offer free admission to the public. Fans will be required to purchase tickets to enter the speedway for the racing action.

"We are working on some very cool attractions, and will begin to announce the details very soon," Toledo Speedway General Manager Scott Schultz added. "ARCA Fan Fest is truly an All-ARCA event, with every sector of the ARCA sanctioning body involved."
