Toledo Speedway

(TOLEDO, Ohio - April 1, 2014):  Praxair, a supplier of services and gas to a variety of industries across the globe, has agreed to the title sponsorship for the ARCA Figure 8 division at both Flat Rock, MI and Toledo, OH Speedways for the 2014 season.

The announcement comes just 4 weeks prior to the first race of the season for the “Motor City Madmen” of the ARCA Figure 8 class, a mainstay at both tracks since the 1960’s.

“We are very pleased to announce that Praxair will join our group of marketing partners at our 2 tracks for the upcoming season,” noted Scott Schultz, General Manager of both Flat Rock and Toledo.  “We are very grateful to Praxair for coming on board less than a month before the racing season swings into action.”

With headquarters in Danbury, CT, Praxair provides equipment, gas services to a wide variety of industries from the biotechnology, food and beverage, energy and healthcare fields. 

The Praxair Figure 8 division will roar into action Saturday, April 26 at Flat Rock, with Toledo’s first race for the group set for Friday, May 9.
