DRIVE TRAIN SPECIALISTS RETURNS TO BACK FLAT ROCK STREET STOCK CLASS

Flat Rock, MI--January 30, 2013: Flat Rock Speedway’s ARCA Street Stock division, one of the most competitive weekly racing classes in the area, has backing again from Warren, MI business DTS Drive Train Specialists. The company returns for their 3rd season of sponsorship of the division, a staple of weekly racing at Flat Rock since 1977.
DTS joins Moran Chevrolet (Late Models) and Parts Galore (Figure 8) as title sponsors of the 3 featured classes at “The Rock” for the upcoming 2013 season.
In addition to their Street Stock backing, DTS will also continue its associate sponsorship of Toledo’s Great Lakes Helicopter Glass City 200 Late Model invitational, which will mark its Silver Anniversary of the race in 2013.
The company will also provide sponsorship for the Friday, July 26 pre-race practice and party for the prestigious Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee Memorial 150 for the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup Series at Flat Rock this season. The practice has been moved to Friday night for this race, which has become a can’t miss event for race fans in the Michigan-Ohio-Indiana-Canada area. The race follows the next day, Saturday, July 27. Complete details surrounding this event will be announced during the summer.
“We are very proud to announce the return of DTS Drive Train Specialists to our sponsorship program for the Street Stock class again this season,” noted Scott Schultz, General Manager of the 2 tracks. “Our thanks to Sandy Rissman, Claude Plante Jr. and the entire group at DTS for their continued support of our race teams at both Flat Rock and Toledo.”
Additional sponsorship announcements will follow as they are secured in the coming weeks.
