It’s Almost Time---The Burge Wrecking “Night Of Destruction” At Toledo Speedway!!! Bus Sponsorship
(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 3, 2012) - In just 21 days, that wild, wacky and just downright crazy night of fun and thrills hits Toledo Speedway! Friday, May 25 the Burge Wrecking “Night of Destruction” invades the Glass City track, featuring the School Bus Figure 8 races!!!
The wildly-popular event puts School buses, full size and one or two smaller buses, on the Figure 8 track, crossing at the intersection. There are no rules when it comes to this insane race, which generates cheers, screams and covering your eyes in anticipation of the big crash and rollover of a School Bus!
School Bus sponsors for the May 25 event include Burge Wrecking, PB Fabrication, R & M Recycling, Jeff’s Collision, Rally’s Hamburgers and Mayfly Tavern/K & K Custom Silk Screen. 2 buses are still open for sponsorship, which includes 20 reserved seat tickets and the opportunity to paint the bus!!! In addition
to the School Bus Figure 8 contest, a host of events include the Figure 8 Train race, featuring 2 cars
chained together—the front car has the engine, the back car has the
brakes! Another fan pleaser is the Figure 8 Boat Race—yes, a boat on a
trailer, chained to the back of a race car, racing on the Figure 8 track!!!!
The ARCA R & M Recycling Street Stocks will also be in action on the short oval track, with a backup race and race car bowling also part of the festivities of the evening.
The front gates will open at 5:30 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Advance reserved seat tickets are now available by calling the track at 419-727-1100. ALL reserved seats are $16 regardless of age. General admission tickets and children’s go on sale race day; they are $15 per adults, ages 6-12 are $3, and children under 6 are admitted free of charge.
Flat Rock Speedway’s first School Bus Figure 8 race, sponsored by Pizza Hut, is set for Saturday night, June 16. Bus sponsors signed up at this time for that event included Parts Galore, Grillers Select BBQ Sauce and Suburban Oil.
