Toledo Speedway

TOLEDO, OH  (3-8-12):  Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway are moving forward with plans for the new racing season, and that includes taking reserved seat ticket orders for a variety of special events at both tracks. 

The order form can be downloaded from either track’s website at www.flatrockspeedway.com or www.toledospeedway.com.  Go to the ticket button for the order form.    Checks and most major credit cards are accepted for mail orders, or fans can call the Toledo office at 419-727-1100 for credit card phone orders.  The Flat Rock office will open in mid-April for phone orders at 734-782-2480. Reserved seat tickets are not available for purchase on-line at this time.

The special event tickets for reserved seating for the Pizza Hut and Grillers Select BBQ Sauce School Bus Figure 8 races at Flat Rock are Saturday June 16 and Saturday, September 15. 

Toledo Speedway will offer reserved seating for 5 events on the 2012 race schedule.  They include the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Stock Car Series Sunday, May 20.  Tickets purchased in advance from the track for this race will also include a ticket for Saturday’s practice, qualifying and the Grogans Towne 50 for the ARCA Truck Series on Saturday, May 19 at no additional charge. 

Reserved seating is also available for the Burge Wrecking and Wendy’s Night of Destruction/School Bus Figure 8 races (May 25, August 31); the All American Coach Fastest Short Track Show in the World, featuring the MSA Winged Super Modifieds and the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints June 15 and the track’s signature event, the 24th running of the Great Lakes Helicopter Glass City 200 Late Model invitational Saturday, September 29. 

The June 15 Fastest Short Track show has a $5 savings for race fans for tickets purchased prior to race day.   

Flat Rock’s reserved seating plan for the School Bus Figure 8 events feature chair-back seating in the center of the main grandstand, while Toledo’s reserved section includes bench seating with back rests in the center of the main stands, directly in front of the scoring tower. 

Toledo’s new season opens with a special Sunday afternoon event April 29, featuring the 7-Up Twin 100’s for the ARCA Allegiant Late Model Gold Cup Series and the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models, with each group battling in 100 lap features on the fast ½ mile paved oval.  Sunday’s race time is at 2 p.m.  The Allegiant Late Models have outlaw-style bodies, while the ARCA/CRA cars are fitted with stock-appearing bodies. 

The weekly Toledo Friday night race cards begin May 4.  The ARCA Sportsman, Figure 8’s, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders hit the track for their first race of 2012.  Friday night race time is 7:30 p.m. 

Flat Rock opens its doors for their Season Opener Saturday, April 28 with the ARCA Figure 8’s, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders in action.  A 250 lap Enduro race is also part of the opening night race card.  Saturday night race time is 7 p.m.
