TOLEDO-AREA VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE CENTERS AND CUMULUS RADIO TEAM UP FOR TOLEDO SPEEDWAY SUMME
Toledo, Ohio--April 28, 2011: The second season of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Summer Racing Series presented by Cumulus Radio will kick off at Toledo Speedway for the first event on Friday, May 6. The concept groups together 10 Friday night races at the Glass City oval. The Toledo-area Cumulus Radio stations will provide the exposure for the Series throughout the 2011 season through on-air spots and various promotions, including live-radio remotes from various Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations.
Valvoline Instant Oil Change customers will receive a Family 4 Pak (2 adults, 2 children) of tickets to attend one of the 10 Summer Racing Series events with the purchase of an oil change at one of the 9 Toledo area VIOC locations (a $26 Value). Fans will receive a voucher for the Family 4 Pak and will present the voucher and their oil change sales receipt at the Toledo Speedway ticket office at any one of the 10 events for admission.
The Summer Racing Series dates, all Friday night shows, are May 6, May 20, June 3, June 24, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5, August 19 and August 26.
Cumulus Radio will host a K-100 radio remote at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change site Saturday, May 7 at 4958 Monroe Street. Special offers and promotions will take place during the radio remotes.
Weekly Friday night racing begins with Race #1 of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Summer Racing Series--the 7-Up/PNC Bank Season Opener on May 6. The ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman, R & M Recycling Street Stocks, Parts Galore Figure 8’s and the Jeff’s Collision 4 Cylinders will provide the racing action.
