Flat Rock, Toledo School Bus Sponsorships Filling Up Fast
(TOLEDO, Ohio - April 5, 2011) - The 2011 racing season is just days away, with any good fortune from Mother Nature! The immensely-popular School Bus Figure 8 races already have begun to create excitement, as bus sponsorship for the 4 events is filling up quickly, before the gates open for the new year.
Both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways will play host to a pair of the races; Toledo's Burge Wrecking Night of Destruction is set for Friday, May 27, with the Wendy's sponsored event hitting the track Friday, September 2. Parts Galore will sponsor Flat Rock's first bus race Saturday, June 18, while Griller's Select BBQ Sauce returns to back the Saturday, September 10 show.
The tracks have sponsorship packages available for each school bus that takes part in the contests, and 5 of the 8 buses already have a name to go with them! Marco's Pizza of Rockwood, Suburban Oil of Taylor (two buses), Parts Galore of Detroit and soon-to-be Flat Rock and Griller's Select BBQ Sauce have agreed to sponsor buses at Flat Rock Speedway.
Toledo's bus sponsors to date include Burge Wrecking, PB Fabrication, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, R & M Recycling and Jeff's Collision.
Each track has 3 buses available for sponsorship. The package is $600 and includes 20 reserved seat tickets to the race, along with public address announcements and a listing in the souvenir program. Sponsors have the opportunity to paint their bus prior to the event!
