Flat Rock, Toledo Special Event Tickets Now On Sale
(TOLEDO, Ohio - March 4, 2011) - Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway are moving forward with plans for the new racing season, and that includes taking ticket orders for a variety of special events at both tracks.
The order form can be downloaded from either track's website at http://www.flatrockspeedway.com/ or http://www.toledospeedway.com/. Go to the ticket button for the order form. Checks, VISA and Mastercard are accepted for mail orders, or fans can call the Toledo office at 419-727-1100 for credit card phone orders. The Flat Rock office will open in mid-April for phone orders at 734-782-2480. Tickets are not available for purchase on-line.
The special event tickets are reserved seating for the Parts Galore and Grillers Select BBQ Sauce School Bus Figure 8 races at Flat Rock (June 18, September 10); and a total of six (6) different events at Toledo. They include the two ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards 200 laps contests (Menards 200 May 15 and the ARCA championship race October 16); the Burge Wrecking and Wendy's Night of Destruction/School Bus Figure 8 races (May 27, September 2); the All American Coach Fastest Short Track Show in the World, featuring the MSA Winged Super Modifieds and the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints June 17 and the track's signature event, the 23rd running of the Glass City 200 Late Model invitational October 1.
The June 17 Fastest Short Track show has a $5 savings for race fans for tickets purchased prior to race day.
Flat Rock's reserved seating plan for the School Bus events feature chair-back seating in the center of the main grandstand, while Toledo's reserved section includes bench seating with back rests in the center of the main stands, directly in front of the scoring tower.
Toledo's new season opens with a special Saturday afternoon event April 23, featuring the first-ever race for the new JEGS/CRA Crate Late Model Series (100 laps) and the USA Modifieds. Saturday's race time is at 6 p.m.
The weekly Toledo Friday night race cards begin May 6, with the Opening Night sponsored by PNC Bank. The ARCA Sportsman, Figure 8's, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders hit the track for their first race of 2011. Friday night race time is 7:30 p.m.
Flat Rock opens its doors for their Season Opener Saturday, April 30 with the ARCA Late Models, Figure 8's and Street Stocks in action. Saturday night race time is 7 p.m.
