Remembering ARCA Late Model Driver Cliff Bailey
(TOLEDO, Ohio - February 7, 2011) - Former ARCA Late Model driver and car owner Clifford Bailey, age 76, passed away Friday, February 4. Cliff drove the No. 6 car for many years around the Southeastern Michigan/Northern Ohio tracks. His sons, Cliff and Jim, have also raced Late Models recently at Flat Rock. Cliff owned and operated a salvage yard for many years with his wife, Marie.
He is survived by wife Marie, sons Cliff and Jim, and a sister, Patricia Werling, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the David C. Brown Funeral Home, located at 460 E. Huron River Drive in Belleville, Mich. Visitation is Tuesday, February 8 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with services scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9. Donations in Cliff's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
