(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - August 30, 2010) - George Carey, who owned the pink-colored No. 38 ARCA Street Stock driven by his wife Roseann Carey for several seasons at Flat Rock Speedway, died after a battle with cancer. Carey, 85, had been ill for several years, and seriously ill for the past six months.

Visitation will be held at the Bobcean Funeral Home in Flat Rock on Thursday, September 2, from noon-7 p.m. A military service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Per George's wishes, cremation will follow.
