Hahn Captures Flat Rock 100 for ARCA Trucks; Maran the Man in Enduro 250

The ARCA Truck race went the first 87 laps all-green flag, giving Hahn the chance to stretch his lead after he over-took early leader Frank Wilson. Paul sailed away out front, but a pair of late-race yellows bunched the field. The double-file restarts allowed Wilson 1 more shot at Hahn, but the former Flat Rock Late Model driver had enough to take the victory. Wilson was second, third was Bill Withers, fourth went to Mike Young and fifth was Tim Schaffer. Ron Wells, Chris Bailey, Brad Yunker, Nathan Trepowski and Amber Collins rounded out the top ten. Hahn set fast time at 12:659 in time trials.
Defending champion Jeff Maran powered his way to a $1000 payday, taking top honors in the first 250 lap Enduro race of the season. Jeff Metdepenningen jumped out front at the start, but Maran quickly went to work, using the high groove for much of the event. Jeff lapped all but the runner-up in the 33 car field as he outdistanced Metdepenningen for the victory. Tristan Dupuis was third, Robb Remick fourth and Jeff Braun fifth, followed by Marc Ortega, Troy Brehmer, Brian Ringger, Derrick Sheppard and Tom Sprotberry.
Mike Berschback was the leader for the first 7 laps until fast qualifier Brad Turner (15:182) zipped by on the outside on lap 6 and stayed there in the all-green flag 20 lap ARCA 4 Cylinder main event. David Price kept up with the leader all the way and came home second, third went to first-time visitor Marissa Jones, fourth was Bershback and fifth was Mike Marlow, followed by Perry Marlow, David Katafiacz, Spicy Chili, Thomas Elmore and Tyler Ensign. Heat race winners were Marissa Jones and Perry Marlow.
