ARCA 4 Cylinder Division Rule Changes in Place: Separate Champs to be Crowned at Flat Rock, Toledo

ARCA officials have released the rule changes for the upcoming 2010 season for the 4 Cylinder class that competes at Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways.
Cars with 4-valve per cylinder engines will now be eligible for competition, with a maximum engine size of 2.2 liters. The camber rule has also been eliminated. To keep the playing field as level as possible, track officials will make adjustments to the rules as necessary for the division. All other rules remain unchanged for 2010.
For the first time since its inception 6 years ago, separate track champions will be crowned. The class has always determined a champion by combining the points of the class from both speedways. Several races will also have purses posted, which will be announced once the season begins.
