Valvoline Instant Oil Change Centers Kick Off 4 Summer Racing Series Stretch With Funday-Sunday Oil
TOLEDO,OH: (7-6-11): The Toledo-area Valvoline Instant Oil Change Centers Summer Racing Series presented by Cumulus Radio is preparing for a 4-consecutive race stretch at Toledo Speedway. To kick off the four Friday night events, the 9-area centers have announced “Funday-Sunday”, set for Sunday, July 10.
This one-day only event will feature special pricing on ALL oil changes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All Valvoline Instant Oil Change Center customers will receive a FREE Family 4 Pak (2 adults, 2 children) of tickets to attend one of the Summer Racing Series events with the purchase of an oil change at one of the 9 Toledo-area Valvoline Instant Oil Change Center locations.
The Cumulus Radio station group will host live radio remotes from 5 of the 9 Valvoline Instant Oil Change location sites Sunday, July 10 for the Funday-Sunday promotion. The schedule has WXKR Radio 94.5 at 1019 Conant Street location in Maumee from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; K-100 Radio will be at 936 S. Main Street in Bowling Green from 10 a.m. to Noon; 106.5 The Ticket will be at the 6529 W. Central Avenue store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; from noon to 2, look for 100.9 the Zone at the 4958 Monroe Street location and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., 93.5 WRQN Oldies will be at 5757 Telegraph Road.
The additional Valvoline Instant Oil Change Center locations are 6306 Monroe Street in Sylvania; 3314 Navarre Road in Oregon; 3620 Secor Road, Toledo and 5165 Airport Highway, Toledo.
The four consecutive Friday night events begin with the July 15 race, featuring an appearance by Santa Claus for the annual Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales/Velvet Ice Cream Christmas in July prize giveaway. A child and an adult drawing will be held for prizes to be given away to lucky race fans. The on-track action will be provided by the ARCA ACME Dismantling Sportsman, the Parts Galore Figure 8’s and the wild, entertaining Figure 8 train race. The train race features 2 car chained together, with the front car with the engine and the back car with the brakes!
The next 3 Friday nights at Toledo Speedway are also designated as Valvoline Instant Oil Change Summer Racing Series events. The Family 4-pak ticket vouchers will also be honored July 22, July 29 and August 5. The Summer Racing Series will conclude with 2 more events on August 19 and August 26.
