(FLAT ROCK, Mich.) - Super Late Model points leader, Paul Pelletier, won his third consecutive feature and fourth of the season. "That yellow hurt us. The front tire's going flat, but lately it seems to run better on the flats (last win, the rear tire went flat in victory lane). It's been a dream season. It was fun tonight, even with all the traffic," said the 2006 division champion.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - August 30, 2010) - Flat Rock Speedway has a school bus available for sponsorship for the wildly-popular Griller's Select BBQ Sauce School Bus Figure 8 race, set for Saturday night, Sept. 11.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - August 30, 2010) - George Carey, who owned the pink-colored No. 38 ARCA Street Stock driven by his wife Roseann Carey for several seasons at Flat Rock Speedway, died after a battle with cancer. Carey, 85, had been ill for several years, and seriously ill for the past six months.

(SYLVANIA, Ohio - August 30, 2010) - Tommy F. Coon, long time ARCA crew member and uncle of ARCA Street Stock driver Brian Norton, died Thursday, August 26 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio. Tom Coon served on his nephew's pit crew from the time Norton began his career in Enduro racing through his two ARCA Street Stock championships at Flat Rock Speedway, totaling 70 feature victories.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - August 28, 2010) - One of the largest crowds of the season filed into Flat Rock Speedway for the UAW Local 3000 Kid's Night promotion Saturday evening at Flat Rock Speedway. With perfect weather conditions and a week of seasonable weather, the track proved to be extremely fast for all 3 classes. Paul Pelletier and Jeremy Vanderhoof held onto their point leads with their wins, while Josh Bunting scored his first-ever Flat Rock victory. Veteran Lonnie York also joined the win parade Saturday night.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 27, 2010) - A great crowd Friday evening at Toledo Speedway witnessed the crowning of the 2010 track champs on All Sport Season Championship Night. Jim Froling, Dennis Whisman, Landon Schuster and Brad Turner took the titles in their respective divisions on perhaps the best Friday evening weather of the season.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 25, 2010) - Toledo Speedway's signature event, the famed Glass City 200 Late Model invitational, has secured a title and presenting sponsor for the 22nd edition of the prestigious race. The Great Lakes Helicopters Glass City 200 presented by Cherry Picked Auto Parts is set for Saturday, October 2. The rain date is Sunday, October 3.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 24, 2010) - For the first time in the history of both the United States Auto Club (USAC) and Toledo Speedway, the famed Silver Crown cars will appear on Saturday, October 16 at the half-mile paved oval. The "Rollie Beale 150" will honor Toledo's very own Rollie Beale, a past champion in USAC and a former director of the Sprint Car Series.

scheduled to take place at Toledo Speedway Saturday night has been postponed.
The rain date that was set will now be utilized, moving the entire program to
tomorrow, Sunday evening, August 21.

Flat Rock, MI (8-21-2010) -- Flat Rock Speedway's Saturday, August 21 event has been cancelled due to the rain. Showers started at the track around 9:30 a.m. and continued as track officials decided to pull the plug.

TOLEDO, OH (8-20-10) -- Toledo Speedway fans gathered on the race track for the Glass Bowl Lanes Autograph Night prior to the start of Friday's race card. The teams provided treats, photos and souvenirs to the appreciative race fans in attendance. Visiting the Sunny D Winner's Circle were Ron Allen, Robbie Loving, Cory McCaughey and the duo of Jeremy Fragassi/Jamie Bussard.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 19, 2010) - The Placers Car Club American Graffiti Tour at Toledo Speedway was a success yet again, marking another super cruise night for Make-A-Wish of Northwest Ohio. Once again, the cruisers came out in huge numbers in support of the show for Toledo-area children.

After taking the flag around for the victory lap and parking the car on the frontstretch, it was discovered the rear tire went flat on the Detroit Tube Mill, ABC Plumbing, Dusty's Collision, Exotic Automation, Berringer Law #44. "Everything's going good. Thanks to the fans, crew and family. Don't know what to say it's a dream come true, all these feature wins."

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - August 14, 2010) - Stoney Creek Auto Parts Autograph Night at Flat Rock Speedway Saturday evening was a hit with the fans, as the track's race teams treated them with photos, souvenirs and goodies. NASCAR driver David Ragan also signed autographs for over an hour. Kevin Butzin, doing double duty as race night sponsor and Late Model competitor, presented the trophies to feature winners Paul Pelletier, Dan Ford Jr., Steve Chartrand and Gary Cronenwett.
