Dirt Afficionado Sheltra Eyes Bill France Triple Crown; DuQuoin's "Magic Mile" Dirt Leads Off

So it would only seem right that the dirt late model veteran would be in a hurry to get to the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds - AKA - the "Magic Mile" for the 58th Southern Illinois 100 Labor Day Monday, September 1st.


HRE Set for Dirt Trackin' at DuQuoin with Winning Combo and Koichi Tanabe

Mooresville, NC (08-29-2008) - Hattori Racing Enterprises continues on its mission of developing driving talent and also developing Toyota engineers, mechanics and service representatives. Traveling with HRE to Duquoin State Fairgrounds is Toyota technician Koichi Tanabe of Tokyo, Japan. Tanabe has worked this week on the AISIN Camry and worked with Germain Racing mechanics as they prepared the team's three Tundras for racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Gateway International Raceway. In developing driving talent, HRE has Midwest dirt racer and HRE crew member Brent Glastetter behind the wheel of the #01 AISIN Camry for one of the most thrilling races on the ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule.


Bean Takes a Second Shot at a Dirt Track at DuQuoin

Mooresville, NC (8.28.08) - After a disappointing 32nd place finish at the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 on the Illinois State Fairgrounds dirt track, Dexter and Team GLOCK would like to move ahead in points as the season winds down to six remaining races. They will race on the one mile clay track in the Southern Illinois 100 at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in the ARCA RE/MAX Series on Monday, September 1st.


Speed, Butler and Lofton Return to Dirt at DuQuoin

Toyota Two-Step for Tyler at DuQuoin

Concord, NC (August 27, 2008) - Brian Tyler returns to the DuQuoin State Fair for another "double-duty" weekend on the dirt. The popular Mt. Pleasant, NC driver will do a "Toyota Two-Step," driving Toyota powered cars in both the ARCA REMAX Series Southern Illinois 100 on Monday, and the Ted Horn 100 USAC Silver Crown race on Sunday night.
