Joliet, Illinois (September 3, 2008)- Justin Allgaier looks to rebound this weekend in the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at the Chicagoland Speedway after a disappointing finish to a good day in DuQuoin. Allgaier was running in the fifth position in the Labor Day race for the green/white/checkered flag restart to complete the race. But a tire went down sending Allgaier high up the track loosing 11 positions.

Mooresville, NC (9.03.08) - Descending upon Southern Illinois and the venerable 56th Southern Illinois 100 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, TEAM GLOCK Racing's Dexter Bean didn't take long to get re-acquainted with the one mile dirt track that has historically allowed the young driver to showcase his roots in stock car driving. But no matter how comfortable Dexter has been with the course, a win has been elusive for the third year driver. Yet this Labor Day where Frank Kimmel was the man to beat, Dexter showed early that he was the best car that could challenge for the win.

DuQuoin, IL (9-2-08) Michael Phelps, driver of the #45 Bowen Family Homes Dodge, felt good about his second time racing on a dirt track yesterday at the Southern Illinois 100 in DuQuoin, IL. Although he qualified 23rd, he felt more optimistic about the race and even enjoyed the dirt saying "we were having a good day and we had a really good car to work with."

DuQuoin, Ill. (September 1, 2008) - Scott Speed endured the second and final dirt race of the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series season on Labor Day at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. Speed and his No. 2 Red Bull team battled the Illinois heat and humidity to finish in the 8th position and retain the Championship Points lead.

DuQuoin, Ill. (September 1, 2008) - It was a long, hot and humid Labor Day in DuQuoin, Illinois for Justin Lofton and his No. 20 Lofton Cattle crew. The team worked endlessly from sun-up until the checkered flag dropped for the Southern Illinois 100. Eddie Sharp Racing's Lofton brought the Lofton Cattle Dodge home in the 12th position.

DuQuoin, Ill. (September 1, 2008) - After two rounds in the Illinois dirt, Ken Butler, III can confidently say that he is not a huge fan of dirt track racing. KBIII and his Aaron's Lucky Dog team struggled in the Labor Day heat and humidity at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds and persevered to bring home a 19th-place finish in the Southern Illinois 100.

CONCORD, NC (9/2/08) John Wes Townley, driver of the No. 09 Zaxby's/SPS/BB&T Ford Fusion, made a charge through the field to bring home another top-15 finish and the Casite Hard Charger award for RAB Racing in the Southern Illinois 100 at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on Monday.
