(TOLEDO, OH - May 17, 2013) - 15-year-old Kyle Weatherman is set for his second career ARCA Racing Series start Sunday afternoon in the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway.
ARCA's thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of stock car legend Dick Trickle. The Wisconsin native made 10 ARCA Racing Series starts over his long career, earning one ARCA victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1991 driving for NASCAR legend Junior Johnson. Trickle's ARCA tenure reaches all the way back to 1969 when he finished 14th at Daytona in his series debut. He also finished second at Atlanta in 1993 driving for the Roulo Brothers. Trickle made his final ARCA starts in 1994 with best finishes of second and fourth at Pocono, and fourth at Atlanta, where he also earned the pole award. RIP.
