TOLEDO OH (6-24-03) Perhaps no other ARCA RE/MAX Series newcomer has made a bigger splash than N. Barrington, Illinois driver Brent Sherman. After posting 2 consecutive runner-up finishes at Berlin and Kansas, Sherman, in his own Serta Mattress-Hickory Farms Ford, has risen to 3rd in national championship point standings behind 4-time champ Frank Kimmel and Jason Jarrett. Coming off a solid 6th place finish at MIS, Sherman has clearly established himself as one to watch week in and week out.............
| In fact, in 10 starts in 2003, the likeable driver has 7 top-10 finishes including a 3rd place run at Nashville and a 4th at Atlanta. Clearly a victory lane candidate, Sherman will none-the-less be up against some very stout competition when he gets his first look at South Boston Speedway for the next event on July 2. |  |

Veteran chief Lee Leslie (left), brother of '88 ARCA champ Tracy Leslie, calls the shots and turns the wrenches on Sherman's #44 Ford Taurus.
